In 1998 the first trip was just about having fun and exploring the best BC trails. After two years of planning and arranging trips for fun Freeridetours started operations in 2000 as a joint venture between Dangerous Dan and Chuck. The company offered day trips of the extensive North Shore trails, in Vancouver BC. Over the years under the guidance of Chris the company has evolved and now offers varying services including a variety of legendary riding adventures and a freeride team. We have a great cast joining our team this year looking forward to riding with you. Our goal is simple: to succeed at being the best there is at hosting memorable and legendary riding adventure for freeriders and riding enthusiasts while promoting the sport of mountain biking. We pride ourselves on the quality of our adventure experience; everything from the food, to the accomodations, and particularly the riding. We want to be able to offer our riding friends the best and most fun biking adventure they've ever been on, no questions asked. This year is all about creating legendary riding memories.

We have received mention in Bike Magazine, National Geographic Adventure magazine, and in 2002 we showed up first in Explore Magazine 's article "Canada's 50 Best Trips." You can also check out Freeridetours in issues of Launch MTB, Kadens (a Swedish Magazine), Bike Germany, Decline, and Bicycling  Team members and guides have been featured in the Kranked series, NWD, Collective, Roam, CKD, Back in the Saddle, Drop, North Shore Extreme, and countless others allowing us to arrange for you to get to experience the real trails with guides that know them and belong on them. 

We're excited about the future of the company and are eager to continue to prove ourselves as being the best there is in a freeride vacation, camps, and adventures.
